Pivot

Life with Jesus is full of pivot points. Some people pivot to him because they want to see what all the fuss is about. Some pivot when they hear his call. Some pivot to Jesus because they sense he could be the only one who sees them beyond their chronic sins. Some pivot away from Jesus because he really loves and accepts sinners. Some people moved by Jesus pivot away from the accumulation of things and move toward others. Some of us have pivoted to joy knowing that God pivoted toward us through Jesus to seek and save the lost! Luke 19:1-10

Good News, Great Joy-As we enter this Thanksgiving season, what better way to express our thanks for the many blessings God has given us than to pass on some blessings to a child in need? For very little money and time, we can help a child by filling a shoe box with those things that we tend to take for granted.

This year, St. Alban’s is once again participating in Operation Christmas Child, a project that provides shoe boxes filled with everyday items to needy children around the world.

Shoe boxes and lists of items needed are available in the Parish Hall. Please return all filled boxes by Sunday, November 13th.

Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you. (Deuteronomy 16:17)

Choir Practice is every Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. Please join us!
