St. Alban's Episcopal Church

We profess that the way of abundant life is found in choosing to follow Jesus Christ with all that we are and all that we have. We use the resources of this community in pursuit of our spiritual growth. To that end, we give generously of ourselves and our wealth and invite others to share in what we enjoy. For more information about our ministries or to see our service times, call the church or visit our website.

Please pray for Ryleigh Corcoran and her family. Ryleigh underwent emergency surgery at Egleston Children's Hospital on March 20 for an abdominal blood clot. The surgery was successful and Ryleigh is recovering.

From Marvin Gray:

Remember this weekend's sprucing up of the grounds of St. Alban's. The pecan shells we use to mulch our shrubs have been distributed to the individual beds thanks to Mary and Ray Herren's tractor work. We now just need a few folks with rakes (leaf or hard tooth) to smooth them out in an uniform fashion.

The weather could possibly be spotty, but there should be enough dry time to spend an hour or two dressing up the areas. It appears that the possibility of showers will not occur until after lunch tomorrow. Beginning about 10 am, a hand full of us could have it completed by noon and outdoor work on Saturday will not be needed.

If anyone is available on Saturday, there are a few projects inside the church that need to be addressed; such as minor cleaning in areas that Pam Smith doesn't cover. Again, about 10 am until noon should cover them. With the community invited to our "Godly Aging" Lenten series on Tuesday evenings, a spiffing up on the parish hall will be our main focus.

Thanks in advance for your assistance,

Marvin Gray
