Alban’s Artist

Alban’s Artist is a collective group of artistic and creative parishioners who create handmade items such as:  prayer journals, bookmarks, notebooks, cards and similar items.  These are given away by the Greeters to visitors and also sold with the proceeds benefiting the Priest’s Discretionary Fund (money used to assist those in need).

St. Alban’s Outreach Program is extremely active throughout the greater community as well as worldwide.

At the beginning of each school year, the congregation provides book bags filled with school supplies for students that are being raised by their grandparents, as a way to assist with the expense of starting a new school year.

Our parish gladly supports African Ministries serving churches in East Africa, by selling their crafts and jewelry annually.

St. Alban’s enthusiastically participates in Operation Christmas Child during the Christmas season. This is a program initiated by Samaritan’s Purse to spread joy to children around the world with gift filled red and green shoeboxes.

Our church has had a long time involvement with the Downtown Monroe Fall Festival. We have provided free hayrides, hotdogs and drinks in conjunction with a community wide blessing of the pets.

Faith in Serving Humanity (F.I.S.H.) evolved from a ministry started at St. Alban’s several years ago. We, as a congregation, continue to support F.I.S.H. with our time, talents and treasures throughout the year. The parish is especially involved during the summer months as we volunteer to prepare and distribute hundreds of sack lunches to children in need throughout Walton County. St. Alban’s is also partnered with Walton Wellness in the F.I.S.H. Farmer’s Market Project as we give away fresh vegetables and fruits to residences of Walton County that are in need.
