From Shirley Morgan:
“Good Tuesday to you all.
As many of you know, there has been much discussion and concern regarding public gatherings. States, institutions, restaurants, and churches are all making decisions based on the latest guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and other health organizations. Our Diocese has given serious thought to our parish gatherings as well.
Yesterday we received direction from Bishop Wright, who issued the following statement:
‘I have decided to direct every congregation to move all worship and meetings online effective immediately and until further notice.’
This will impact us and many other churches in the Diocese. Until further notice, we will be canceling our mid-week Lenten Suppers, as well as Sunday services, and any other meetings or gatherings at Saint Alban’s.
Please stay tuned. We will be updating you and supplying appropriate links, which will allow you to participate in online streaming of prayers and services through email, newsletters, Facebook, and our website as appropriate.
Continued prayers and well wishes for you all, as we move through these needed adjustments.
Fr. Rich, the Vestry, and the Staff of Saint Alban’s Episcopal Church.”
