Wayne will surely be missed as he attended church very regularly and was always willing to give a helping hand when needed especially the pancake supper.
Carolyn may you be comforted by memories you both made together, and the fact that you have the love and support of your church family here at St. Alban’s Episcopal
We extend our sincerest condolences for the loss of Mr. Pickeral. He was a kind person and we are blessed to have known him. May you all find solace in the loving memories you shared. Peace be with you.
Wayne was a wonderful person and I was privileged to know him and his family for many years. A lot of people were better off because Wayne was a part of their lives and his absence will definitely be felt. My deepest condolences to Carolyn, Sara, and the rest of Wayne’s family.
Friendly to all, orthodox Episcopalian, dapper dresser, straight shooter, Southern-through-and-through, loved his evening top shelf whiskey cocktail hour, and always willing to lend a hand (or an opinion). His presence will be missed.
This week we lost one of the top ambassadors for the City of Monroe and St. Albans Episcopal Church. Wayne Pickeral gave unselfishly of himself to serve both and we are so much better for it. We look forward to renewing our friendship with him in heaven. Rest in Peace, Wayne Stan Brassie
Wayne and Carolyn have always been so good and encouraging to SallieKate and me—from our adoption process, to life challenges, to teaching SallieKate how to scuba dive and supporting her interest in traveling! We’ve always been met with kind and outreaching hearts, hands and hugs!
We have great memories and are so thankful!
Peace to your family. Melissa Keffer
