Dear Saint Alban’s Family,

What a blessing it is to be part of Saint Alban’s.

We are a church family growing together in faith, in fellowship, in service, and in our love for one another and our community. Each Sunday, we see new faces alongside longtime friends. We are offering more opportunities for worship, expanding Christian formation, strengthening our outreach, gathering more often in fellowship, and finding new ways to care for and support one another.

There is so much for which we can be grateful.

As your Vestry, we are thankful for the spirit of generosity, love, and commitment that makes Saint Alban’s such a special place. Every person who worships with us, volunteers, gives, prays, welcomes a visitor, prepares a meal, participates in a ministry, or simply offers a kind word contributes to the life of our parish.

Our growth is a wonderful blessing, and with that growth comes an opportunity to continue investing in the church God has entrusted to our care.

From August 17 through September 20, we invite you to join us in Growing Together: Investing in Our Church, Our Ministries, and Our Future, a special campaign to support the Saint Alban’s Capital Improvements Fund.

Our Goal: $20,000

This year, we have prayerfully set a campaign goal of $20,000. Reaching this goal will allow us to continue investing in important capital improvements while preparing for future needs as our parish and ministries continue to grow.

This campaign will take the place of our traditional Christmas appeal for a special project. Rather than focusing on one single need, Growing Together will help us care for our church home, strengthen the ministries taking place within it, and prepare Saint Alban’s for the opportunities ahead.

We recognize that we cannot accomplish every project at once. Instead, our goal is to move forward thoughtfully and faithfully, completing or advancing projects as resources become available and priorities are determined.

Recent and upcoming capital improvements that may be enhanced, funded, or supplemented through gifts to the Capital Improvements Fund include:

• Our Church Roof – Supporting the significant investment already made to replace and protect our church roof.
• Solar Energy Project – Investing in our future by reducing energy costs and helping lower operating expenses for years to come.
• Technology Improvements – Enhancing worship, livestreaming, sound, communications, and the technology that supports our ministries and daily operations.
• Hospitality Improvements – Improving our kitchen and gathering spaces so we can continue welcoming people for fellowship, meals, celebrations, and community events.
• HVAC Replacements – Replacing the kitchen and hallway air-conditioning units.
• Other Capital Needs – Addressing projects that care for our facilities, protect our property, and support the growing ministries of Saint Alban’s.

These projects are about more than buildings, equipment, or technology. They are about ministry.

A welcoming gathering space allows relationships to grow. Better technology helps us share worship with those who cannot be physically present. A Memorial Garden provides a sacred place for prayer and remembrance. Energy improvements help us direct more of our future resources toward ministry. Caring for our buildings ensures that Saint Alban’s remains a place where people can worship, gather, learn, serve, and experience God’s love for generations to come.

During this campaign, we ask each household to prayerfully consider making a special gift to the Capital Improvements Fund. Every gift, regardless of its size, brings us closer to our $20,000 goal and represents an investment in the life and future of Saint Alban’s.

This special gift is separate from your annual pledge, which remains essential to supporting the ongoing worship, ministries, outreach, programs, and operations of Saint Alban’s.

You may place a check in the offering plate, bring your gift to the church office, or give online. Please designate your gift “Capital Improvements Fund.”

Most importantly, we ask for your prayers.

Pray for Saint Alban’s. Pray for our clergy, staff, Vestry, ministries, volunteers, and one another. Pray for the people who have not yet walked through our doors but may someday find a church home here. And pray that God will continue to guide us as we discern how best to use the gifts and opportunities entrusted to us.

We believe the future of Saint Alban’s is filled with promise. We are growing, our ministries are expanding, our outreach is strengthening, and new people are becoming part of our parish family.

And we are doing it together.

          Together, we worship.
          Together, we serve.
          Together, we care for one another.
          Together, we welcome our neighbors.
          And together, we are preparing Saint Alban’s for the future.
